I mistakenly bought this little guy. How would I use it? Off-set studio mounted on top of the 19mm universal mount?

That's right. It attaches to the top of the 19mm or 15mm universal mount http://www.red.com/store/products/dsmc-universal-mount
for those times you need to add some 15mm rods

Thanks Spencer. The single bolt doesn't feel very secure, but I suppose this could be useful.
