I'm shooting in Kenya and Ghana in May and want the lightest rig possible. I am looking at 138mm Circular Filters for a lighter rig. I shoot entirely on 18-50mm RPZ and 50-150mm RPZ.
Will these filters suffice: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produ...8_BGND_9HD_138mm_Blender_Neutral_Density.html
Is there a grade of glass that is too "low res" for the RED? I got the impression somewhere that you can lose resolution if your filter is not high quality glass.
I prefer to shoot with the iris wide open. What three/four filters should I get to achieve this? ND 0.9, 1.2, 1.5, 1.8? Or start at 1.2 and go up from there?
I would prefer to not stack them.
Thanks!
