  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

120fps Shot that made me pee myself a bit

It looks kind of noisy but I think its acceptable, moreover it hasnt been CC yet nor noise reduction applied. The shot looks great. I did a high speed test with a glass and some cheap wine, I had to add a huge amount of contrast in order to avoid the noise in the black background. Still, it looks awesome. 113fps though.. where are those driveees!!!!:)

Isn't it super weird to see the column leaning right at the end? Kinda following the dancers...

This is one of those cases of rolling shutter that spoils it for me :(

I'm pretty sure it was just tilted. I noticed it too but then went back to look and the columns in the back and the ceiling are all off axis.

Looks great!

I guess I was wrong... that's good because I was quite worried watching so much distortion. Thx guys :)

I just tried the link and it said the file had been deleted from Vimeo.

Kinda reminded me of the rave scene from Matrix 2. :)

Being able to shoot serious slo-mo is just the greatest thing.

IMO, overcranking is greatly responsible for making Wong Kar Wai's "In the Mood" one of the great cinematography achievements in the last 50 years. People underrate the importance of this tool.
