never had to plug in plug out your TouchLCD to get those black/white bar out of sight? never? Never had a fan pump up in volume "automatically" because your brain was getting to hot? I often assume that alot of the quirks of our Scarlet-X are the "Status-Quo" so apart from alot of these little quirks we almost never had a problem either =)

Last month I shot probably 50 cards (64gb) using Beta firmware 3.3.3, and had one lockup, during pause. No other issues. I DO NOT use the touchscreen, but rather a TV Logic 5.6" and side handle. Just my experience. Yours may be different.
I have left the fan speeds at factory default, and shot in very high temp, one day in the south Texas sun, ambient temps around 100, and no overheating. I just don't monkey with the fan speeds set by Red.
