  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

#0600 Scarlet+Leica

Yeah I second that. I have not seen too many people on this forum do much in grading their test footage. This is by far, the most promising footage I've seen. I love film, and what I see here is DR which is equal, if not beyond (though equal would be ideal frankly). And there's so much more that could be done with this footage to really get it there. Would love to see it warmed up a little, maybe with a little more chroma, and some film grain.

I love the footage too. Nice! The more I see the results from Red + Leica R the more I'm happier I didn't sell my Leica R set 10 years ago.

Thanks all! The grade is purposely cool (but may change for the final) - goes with the music of the video that I am working on... I really, really wish that there was HDRx support in Premiere. My workflow thus far with HDRx is to grade almost entirely in REDCINE and export ProRes 4444, then edit and final sharpening, little tweaks in Premiere, and I know that I am loosing info doing it this way.

I am testing exporting tiff files for use in Premiere. Can anyone comment on the merits of tiff vs ProRes 4444?
