Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)
I'm well aware of all the options, I just wanted someone to confirm my memories of having to buy the CF module as a separate piece.. that in 2007/2008 the $17,500 price tag didn't include a CF module installed out the gate.
Yeah I swear I remember back then before they started shipping the red one as the MX, the board that sits inside the CF plate on the side was an additional $500 and you had to choose it.
Huh that's odd because it's very apparent to me that this Red One M I have has never seen a CF module board. The ribbon cables are neatly put away and have never been disturbed. My cameras serial is in the 6000s last I looked
I recently got ahold of a killer Red One M Deal that came with almost every bracket and handgrip RED made for it as well as the 18-50 lens in open box condition and 36hrs on the camera. One thing I noticed is the CF Module board was never installed on my camera and my camera came with one 640gb...
I went to try to shoot the northern lights from my patio last night here in Denver with my Epic Dragon that I recently got and when i switched the camera over to 1fps the blue channel dropped, the blacks crushed and i was left with an unusable high contrast sickly orange/green image. I was told...
Upon further tests, i've decided to put the Low Light back on the camera. I wish I could track down one of the standard OLPFs... seems like thats the sweet spot for the camera.
Thanks for the info. Upon testing them myself, I personally happen to like the image coming from the Skintone over the Low Light honestly. I think I might keep both of them and use lowlight where I see fit. I had no idea they made a Standard OLPF for DSMC1 Dragon bodies, thought it was just Low...
I recently upgraded to the Dragon sensor and obviously the FOV is wider than what this lens can cover so I am open to let go of my month old DZO Pictor Zoom so I can invest in a lens that will cover the FOV of my camera.
In open box condition. Comes with everything (EF and PL Mount, Lens Caps...

I recently moved from the EPIC MX to EPIC DRAGON and I wanted to get some peoples opinions on this.
My camera came with the Skin Tone Highlight OLPF and I have a Low Light OLPF on the way. I've been told by multiple people that the Low Light should really be the only OLPF I use on the camera...

I've tried attaching the PRO IO Module to my EPIC MX using a regular adapter module and a +1 Module and these are the issues im being faced with
-Significantly Slows the response time of the camera &...
I'm playing with the idea of upgrading to the dragon dsmc1 body so i'm entertaining letting my MX body go.
Would just be the body and Canon EF Mount / Side SSD Module.

Update: I tried the SDI ports and they are not even sending out a signal to my HD SDI Monitor. When i turn the audio off in the camera I can record with the PRO IO attached, but the moment i turn it on to channel 1/2 or 3/4 the red locks up for a min and then i get the audio buffer overflow...
Phil - Do you know what might be causing this? I tried downgrading the firmware, using different adapter modules and still the same thing. The 5.0 LCD Touch takes a bit longer to boot and its touch response is severely slower bordering on freezing sometimes and the LCD VF port is not working and...
