For some reason out of the blue when I try to import an XML it prompts me with something like "5 out of 169 files cant be found" I'll choose to search a certain file, and go to where my footage is. It then gives me errors saying it hasn't found any of my shots. I've tried choosing different sub...

I'm editing an interview video that uses audio from a Azden Wireless Lav to an H4N. There was some background noise and distortion in audio, however it didn't sound too bad when coupled with music on my office speakers and headphones. However when I play the audio through my MacBookPro speakers...

I was doing 5k 1fps timelapses on my Scarlet for an event one night and forgot to calibrate to the shutter speed. So my image now has static green, blue, red dots throughout. Newbie mistake, and not the end of the world. I figured I'd ask to see however if there was a way to fix this or minimize...

I have a gig thursday outside Atlanta, and was renting a Steadicam Scout from a rental site as its one of the few places I found with one. However turns out their scout needs repairs. I was wondering if anyone knew of a good rental house or an individual even, who has a Steadicam Scout for rent...

I've seen 360 degree cameras and lenses for surveillence or the Iphone. However I was wondering if there are any that could possibly be used professionally? That shoot at least 1080p/30fps?

I'm going to post side by side screen caps of what I'm describing, just can't at the moment and figured I'd at least get the question out there. I'm having some issues with my video going from CS6 to Vimeo. The exported video file (which is h.264 mp4 as vimeo suggests) when I play it from my...

I'm shooting with a Scarlet tomorrow at a Music Festival. Was thinking of having all the camera shoot in 3k/48fps just to have the option of slowing it down in post better, but I want to have a 24fps look for all non slow motion. Will I get this by just dropping 48fps on a 24fps timeline or is...

I really wasn't sure which section to post this in. I'm looking to see if anyone has any good connections for jib/crane rentals. Currently in need of two. This would include everything obviously (jib/operator/camera/dit). It's for a live festival and would be all day Saturday and Sunday. Also...

Placed my order last night finally. Just getting a basic Scarlet package, but it's still unreal. Didn't think I'd ever be owning my own RED. Can't imagine what it'll feel like once it finally gets here. Was it the same for you guys the first time you purchased a RED personally?

Looking to pick up a used Side Handle and if possible a used power pack (2 redvolts + charger). Seen a few on the forums but again either i've been too late or no response.

Only looking for 2 128GB RED Mag's (or 4 64gb) I've seen a few sellers on here but either they have sold or haven't heard anything back so figured I'd make a post and see if anyone was looking to sell.

I was wondering what you guys thought the "best" option was for a top handle. I would like to be able to mount the monitor on the top some how as well (either on the handle, or in front/behind). I'm really looking for the cheapest option, however I didn't use that word just because I'm open to...

I'm sure, these threads pop up at times, so I guess I apologize before hand, although I haven't seen any since I'm come on over here. New to the forums although I use to snoop a lot haha. Anyways, I'm coming into a small inheritance (approx. $25k) from an aunt passing, and I've decided to make a...
