Just got my Trost slider and a couple of wonderful Matthews slider stands from a group buy (thanks again, Nick!). So, I'm wondering how people are transporting these. The slider represents a greater investment, so I'm really looking for something to hold onto it tightly. Any suggestions?

Before I purchase the DSMC shoulder pad from the red store, would anyone care to share their opinion about how comfortable it is with a fully kitted Epic on your shoulder? For, say, 10 or 12 hours a day? It doesn't look like the padding is too substantial, but I thought I'd ask. Thank you! Matt
