Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)
A B&H staff member lists Komodo's power draw as 45 watts (in the Q&A section).
My understanding of the power draw calculation is: (watt hours) / (run time in hours) = watts. Phil Holland's battery FAQ suggests we should get 2.2 hours runtime from a BP-975, which is roughly 54 watt hours. By my...
Selling a PC in a portable, convenient chassis. It's a great setup for studio work or in the field as a compact DIT machine.
Trying something a little different-- I'll upgrade any component you want, if it's compatible. The ebay listing has a few examples and the associated costs, but if you...

Backstory: I'm a shooter/colorist in NYC, and in my earlier days I spent a lot of time trying to figure out what all my options were in shooting...
I've been researching native ISO for Red cameras. There's some conflicting information out there, but it seems like 400-2000 is the officially recommend range for the M-X and Dragon (documented here: http://www.red.com/learn/red-101/iso-speed-revisited).
But I haven't found any official numbers...
Trying to understand the best way to describe sensitivity in digital cameras. We describe dynamic range with a simple number, but is there an equivalent for how well a camera performs in low-light? Most people seem satisfied to just understand that the F55 is good and the Blackmagic is bad, but...
