When you mount the EVF and turn the black knob, does the locking pin engage with the mount’s slot, or is it spinning freely? I’m wondering if this could be a loose set screw inside the EVF mount or maybe an issue with the mount itself.

I recently bought a used RED camera and found that getting a sensor check from an authorized service center was worth it. They gave me a full report on dead pixels, scratches, and overall sensor health. If you can get that kind of report from the seller, it reduces the risk of hidden issues.
