    Native R3D to Proxy Workflow - FCPX Still Renders On Timeline?

    So I followed the native R3D workflow and all seems to be working great...I brought in all my RED footage to FCPX but left the original files in the original place, had it transcode to proxy...then switched to proxy mode...yet it still background renders on the timeline...? Is this normal...
