Being a published Naturalist/Artist/Author and Conservationist, my recent purchase of a new Raptor fits in nicely with my planned trip to the upper reaches of Hudson Bay. When I get this funky old jeep mechanically restored to perfection, I will be driving up in that direction. I have all restored elements of the mechanical drivetrain done and in coming weeks I will finish the funky and now fashionable patched up restoration of the original bodywork show here. Preserving the character, the old layered paint effect, to prepare this cool old vehicle for this trip, is my goal. I will be making an exploratory trip up to James Bay in a "normal" car in a week or so. Taking the old Jeep will require a bit more preparation and will probably have to be delayed until spring 2022. At that point I will be utilizing my newly acquired Raptor to record the drive of old Jeepy Jeep Yellow up to James Bay. After arrival there, some exploration of the James Bay Region by boat and air is planned. My purpose to document what the ecology of the regions traveled through looks like. What a way to go!
