"The new Martin Jetpack is priced at $86,000 (£57,675) and is the world's first commercially available personal flying machine.

This beast of a machine will allow you a full 30 minutes of flight time, so just be careful you are not too high when you are reaching that 28-minute point in your flight across from the top of London's Centrepoint to the top of the BT Tower."

No word yet on the EPIC or SCARLET mounting kits. :)

This totally feels like something Jannard would buy. God, I'd love to have one some day!!

Jet Pack + Steadicam = Nice Setup (lol)
But your sound Guy will be super Pissed (lol)

That would solve my commute to the office. And also hovering to my local 7-11 for the milk. "Honey, I'm taking the jet-pack, be right back"

I am already thinking about cinema applications.

You have weigh less than 90kg, or 200 pounds. Boo.

Weigh Coach: "Why are you trying to lose weight sir?"
Rotund Individual: "I wanna fly a jetpack"

best reason to shed a few pounds I've ever heard of.

Yell: What happened to the footage?
Response: JetPack failed.
Yell: What about the shot?
Pilot: I'm okay.Thanks

you have to download the first video, ther are two guys running next to the thing like they are going to catch it if it fails...reminds me of those whacky flying machines at the turn of the century.

Can u imagine how pissed your neighbors would be in the morning!

My father's water-propelled jetpack, "JETLEV FLYER" is also slated to be released this summer. 7 years in the making.

Limited to 500 production units for the first year of release. Featured on Discovery HD, Daily Planet, Popular Science, Engadget, etc.

Current model is limited to 33', can fly up to 3 hours on one tank of fuel, and can fly up to 30mph. Future models will fly higher, longer, and faster.
You can hover, fly horizontal, underwater, and tricks like donuts, orbits, twists, etc.

A little safer than flying above land ;)

The Martin Jetpack looks fun and I think the current model has a max height of 3-5' altitude max.

Nice one, Norm :biggrin5:

The only thing I was complaing about filming underwater were graceful entry and exit. Looks like my problem was finally solved  LOL

The guy on the right is really, really paranoid, isn't he? Must be a helicopter parent.
