  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

get your damn camera upgraded already!

if you have been notified to have your camera updated and you haven't done it yet, WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?

i am getting 3 to 5 requests per day for my MX Body, it is like the old days back in 2007 when there were very few bodies out there.

the camera is significantly better and the word is out...so your "old" red will not rent as much if at all in the coming months.

don't delay...get it done, if you had i could be getting you work today!

dino, FYI, there has apparently been a temporary parts delay on MX upgrades... lots of cameras sitting on ice at Red HQ right now, i think. i don't think the problem is lack of interest in MX upgrades!.. just the opposite!! it's my understanding that the response has been overwhelming.
 
well that now makes sense then...time to raise my prices....
 
I think they only called up to #600 and then stopped there, so I don't think anyone after that can mail it back even if they felt like it

Lol, the second month could be worth more than the first month if it becomes apparent that the upgrade pace has stalled :-)

yeah but it is the non clients that are calling now, looking for bodies only. if that is your business, cool. for better or worse i must be on set with my package or i'm staying home with my son.

Not too much longer :)

Part issue resolved, working all weekend to start working through cameras already in house, should be all caught up next week.

All the way to #600 will be done by next week? Or you'll just be back where you thought things would be today?
 
That's really good news. I was getting a little anxious....mine's been at Red for 15 calender days now.

Let's see how the weekend goes. But, we should be blasting additional people as eligible for upgrade by end of next week.
