Maybe some pictures will surface as well for those of us that can't make the trip.

Our proprietary negative light refraction technology makes photographing “Jupiter” nearly impossible.

However I do have an OConnor T-shirt for the first person who can correctly post why the name “Jupiter” was chosen.

Here's an answer:
O'Connor continued to design more steam locomotives, including replicas of “Jupiter” and “#119”, the two engines that met on the 10th of May, 1869 - where the Golden Spike was driven at Promontory, Utah-opening the Transcontinental Railway. The engines still operate today.

Has to do with the Jupiter locomotives and steam engines huh! & Chadwell O'Connor.

Also, Mr. O'Connor had a hobby of filming steam locomotives. He couldn't get the smooth shots he wanted so he invented the fluid head. Just read this yesterday.

It has a "Big RED spot"!

That looks nice and low profile.

Today Eric came by to drop off my prize (T-Shirt). You are a man of your word Eric, thanks. He also brought the prototype follow focus for me to see and i have to tell you that this gear is beautiful. They thought of everything on this. Lowest profile that you can get. Being able to use it on 15 and 19mm rods without changing out parts is great. These are going to set the new standard for follow focuses. Thanks again for bringing it by.

Sexy. Very interesting design. Did they give you any details about price etc.
I like how the focus knob uses the bridge to eccentrically transfer power to the other side.
Big change from the Willytec.
Does it have any internal step down/up gears?
Reversible?

Jupiter has now traveled to Toronto and can be viewed at the 8th Annual February Freeze event hosted by Pinewood Studios on the MEGA stage. We are looking forward to meeting our neighbors to the north!

I met Eric and Jupiter.
Very nice to meet you Eric!

Very impressive FF. It tackles a number of FF issues.
Very low profile for large lenses. Adaptable to both 15/19mm rod configs. Quite light weight.
I was thinking that the modular nature of the gear arm (its geared not belt driven)
means that later arm units could be made that are
1) reversible (internal "third wheel"?)
2) stepped down for short-throw lenses. (heck sped up for macro work or how bout 3 speed or CVT!)
should they decide to pursue it.

I'm looking forward to field testing a unit later this winter ;)

Now if that design should spawn a dual 15/19mm lens support bracket too...
Just a thought.

Got to see one at BVE in London, and it looks and feels at least on par with ARRI/Chrosziel. Backlash is adjustable if necessary. One bridge will go on 19mm/15mm studio rods, another easily swappable bridge will fit 15mm LWS.

They said they would probably produce a reversing gear as lots of people had enquired about it too.

Would have liked a bevelled marking disc too.

Couldn't get a price out of them though!
