  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

RED Studios Hollywood

See what happens when you are away from RedUser for just one day.

I can't ever think of the former Ren-Mar studios without laughing thinking of Artie Lange running from the studios being chased by his agents and managers, ending up in the produce department at the Pavilions next-door throwing fruit at everybody. If you haven't read "Too Fat To Fish", you should.

Congrats on the new digs; glad to have you guys nearby.

Fantastic move. Blessings to RED on your new home. Now I'm DEFINITELY doing Sydney to LA to visit. Can I crash your place? Heheh.

Checkmate - well done Mr. Jannard
Congrats Team

Drew just posted this pic on Twitter!

This pic just reminded me of Steve Jobs' keynotes, except tougher.

Seriously though, Jobs might have taken CEO of the decade for the first of the 21st century. But I think 10-20 might be yours Jim!

So will red studios be open for regular productions to come in and use the stages? or is there something in the works with RED funded films?

As I understand it will be transformed as a show room and no more movie would be made...?

A lot of buzz but little infos about what really happend.

There are 5 stages at RED Studios Hollywood. RED will take one for demos, etc. and the others will remain as working stages for various productions.

Jim

Why RED Studios Hollywood. Why not just RED Studios. Are you suggestiong more acquisitions in the future?

So as not to confuse with RED Ranch in Las Vegas.

Jim

Congrats guys! Nice to see RED expand.

Yeah I was also impressed with the low noise and the lack of a fixed pattern of noise as well.

The shot of Leo lit by match @ 1280 iso was very impressive, The 4k sony projector was also very nice. The presentation by park Road post was very cool. Red Cine X is great (just wish t would stop crashing...witch it will eventually).

All in all a fun day at RED Studios.....

Can't wait to shoot on the new sensor.

Oh yeah, not throwing this away anytime soon......nice souvenir...

I'm pretty sure I've worked there, on the "I Love Lucy" stage. Goosebumps going in.

Congrats! I am happy to see such a treasure rests in wise hands.
