  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Show up dressed in camoflage and boots, with red eyes and a few days growth of beard. Then grin and show them your new toys - which have "RED Bomb" and "RED Gunner" embossed on the outside.

That should do it... :)
 
Would love to be there! Is this open to the public or for red owners only? Or better yet, is this for future red owners?

I was so looking forward to going to the next RED DAY...Unfortunatly for me I will be shooting on that day...Far far away from LA...SAD!
 
I'd love to come. I'll be flying from Maine, and could use some info on where to stay for 2 nights. This trip will be a determining factor in purchasing RED, and I am ready to GEEK OUT over the gear. Any help would be appreciated.

Wrinkles??

Is that similar to Panasonic's version of file wrappers? You know, like the AG-HMC40 is said to shoot MPEG-4, but the file is "wrapped" as an AVC file. So does that mean a RED camera could shoot R3D raw files, but the file could be saved as a .MOV (for example) with the new FLUT (or LUT) settings that would be instantly editable in FCP without the absolute need to grade the footage?? That would be cool... is that what a wrinkle is?

A recommendation is dependent on the location of the event. Hate to recommend an Embassy Suites in Temecula if it's going to be held at the Burbank Airport. Has the location been announced?
 
I 'd love to be there, but it 's far away from here and I can' t afford money or time. I 'm looking forward to a similar event in Europe.

I hope the fellow RedUsers that will be there, share with us that won 't manage ...:001_rolleyes:
