Definitely looks like there is a touch more dynamic range but it is hard to say from a internet clip. I noticed the sensor protect is still there at 1:23. Is that inherent in the sensor or the way the R1 processes the image? Must be the R1 processing but then is it really protecting the sensor? I love Kate in Laurel Canyon.

Thanks, Jim. That's really awesome. I love seeing REDs used for this kind of stuff. Some BTS of how the camera was configured would be awesome. I think I'd do this kind of shoot with a minimal RED setup, hand held, light weight, engaging... but I'm not really a professional yet. I wonder what the experts do.
