Really Considering buying the Canon 7D, been holding back for the Scarlett since it was first announced last year. Should I wait for the Scarlett ? Is the October annoucement for a upcoming or an actual release date? If that's the case I would hold off on the purchase.

I had the pleasure of supervising the fx work on a music video shot on the RED ONE, and just love the workflow. I'm on hold to direct an upcoming music video and would really like it to be on the Scarlett.

You should wait for Scarlet based on its capabilities.
