I As long as you can see that it made it to the drive and you're safe to erase the CF card.
We never erase a CF card on set after backing it up to a Nexto. I don't trust the varification and I don't trust me or the staff copying the data. It happend more than twice that a CF card was not copied to the Nexto. I don't want to bother the clapperloader/dit with data wrangling that is based on erasing media. Hence we have enough CF cards for a long shooting day. You never erased tapes nor fiilm rolls ons set. The beauty of the Nexto is that it doubles the media and collects it to a drive. This way all shots of a day can be conveniently copied later to tape and/or project raid in a meaningful environment which a film set is surely not. When all data is backed up twice and checked the CF cards are ready to be erased for the next day.
In 2-3 years solidstate media will be so cheap that many productions can afford it to buy new cards for every new project. The Nexto, however, will still be a very useful device.
