I want to see this so bad haha!! Love it the concept! Genius. $1000 says this gets bought by a studio.

"Take some young kids out in the remote wilderness, add some snow, a creepy story from an old man in a cabin and then a few hundred German Nazi Zombies just for fun, and you get the new Foreign Film just picked up for the Sundance Film Festival. "Dead Snow" follows a group of teens on a ski vacation at a cabin in the mountains, when they get ambushed by a mess of zombies. The movie is intended as a comedy/horror genre, and seems like it will most definitely deliver. Tommy Wirkola wrote and directed the flick, who also made "Kil Buljo: The Movie" a parody of the Kill Bill movies. Thanks to the Sundance pick up here is a new trailer that is guaranteed to satisfy some zombie hunger!"

I don't mean only for distribution but also to be re-shot in English and with a bigger budget. I don't mean to take away from the film, it looks great based on the trailer, I just see a lot of $$$ potential for this movie without subtitles. Anyway, that's what I hope cause I can tell I'll want to watch it more than once so why not in English.

Snowmobile mounted MGs FTW!!! Love it!

We should have done something like that on our first project, even if it wouldn't fit at all, lol...

I love the Evil Dead tribute. I'm going to see this! :zombie_smiley:

God saves the Gore!

Well I saw it the other day, couldn't resist. What can I say, it's fun, and not without a sense of humour. Shot 35mm but sometimes it looks, well kind of cinema quality high def and I don't mean that as a criticism. It looks a little too clean sometimes but hell, the zombie nazi's were dirty enough. Miles away from 'Let The Right One In' which is superb and very different. Swedes seem to be going producing some great things lately.

Also a lovely little play on the concept of bitten by a zombie you become one. You'll see what I mean.

wow.......

Not quite sure whether you're trying to say this movie is swedish or not, but it definitely isn't. Norwegian make and model thank you very much! :P

Problem is, Hollywood would simply do their best to butcher it. I simply dont see the problem with subtitles in the first place, I always have subtitles on in the event some sound effect makes it difficult to hear what theyre saying.

Oops, really sorry Farberg. My bad. All hail to the Norwegian film industry!

Hehe. I actually went and saw this movie when it premiered here in Norway 8 months ago or something. Thought it was pretty decent, but not exactly award-material. Just a fun and entertaining movie.
