Director Sandy Collora asked me to post some stills from the final DI of "Hunter Prey" shot on RED.
Shot by DP Ed Gutentag, Hunter Prey has some of the cleanest, most stunning, RED footage I've had the opportunity to work with to date.

The Digital Intermediate will be wrapped up at PlasterCITY very soon.

Those look great!!
I've been looking forward to this since BigLu first teased us with it back in November.
The RED Reel and these new pics you've posted have just increased my curiosity 10 fold!!

I love the fact that they're using actual masks on the "creatures" instead of just cg-ing everything. Way cool.

Pretty nice. I really liked it. (Um. but how do you make something like this and not get sued..?) Or are fan films fair game for creative artist endeavors?

Pretty sure it's original IP. The director had -- problems --- after his Aliens/Batman fanflick and I wants to getinto safer territory.

hhmm, i guess it can be problematic for the feature because a sci fi tv show has more production value than this (for example battlestar)

and the planet just looks like a desert with compositing, what it is, and not like

a bad ass desert world imho

i am a huge sci fi fan, and i hope the story is really good for the guys who made this movie.

maybe its just the trailer, i didnt liked it.

Just watched the film on Netflix, wow looks absolutely stunning. I guess is not too difficult getting some great shots, using that awesome location, but the DP did a superb job. The film ended and I still wanted more. Thats' saying a lot! Congrats to all involved. It would be nice to see the story develop even more with a bigger budget. Lets hope you keep the story arc alive.
