  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Has anyone tried an Easyrig with your Red One?

Is anyone else having difficulty with the EasyRig web commerce security certificate? I tried to place an order and pay via credit card, but my computer basically blew up with all of the alarm bells going off!

We have a valid COMODO EV SSL certificate.

After I received your PM, I contacted COMODO & Our Host company. This issue is being addressed as I write this.

The Secure Socket Layet is "secure". But, because the browser cannot find the certificate (to verify) it's coming up as a warning.

Again, we are doing everything to fix that problem and eliminate the warning. Hopefully, I will have this completed in the next couple of hours.

Again, thanks for the heads-up. The site is now fully operational without "alarm bells going off".

And, so everyone hears it from me, it is, indeed working properly and I did, indeed, order my EasyRig 3 (600). I can't wait to try it out!

I'm in the same boat. I do half RED gigs and half 35mm gigs but want the option to be able to shoot 435, Millenium XL, etc but also RED. Not sure which to order but I'm leaning more towards the 700. I just don't want the RED to start fighting me upwards if I get the 700. That would be annoying.

cool thanks for the info...still on the fence though...I do about a lot more RED gigs (25-35lbs) than 435 (35-45lbs)....hmmm

Keep in mind the Epic will most likely be lighter.

Which is something I'm definitely buying so I'm wondering if I need 600 or 700. I wish there was a setting where you could adjust this weight capacity/tension on the same Easy Rig so it can support varying camera weights.

Keep in mind the Epic will most likely be lighter.

I specifically thought about Epic when we went with the 600N. I think we made the right decision, but one thing is for certain: Even if the EasyRig only takes 26 pounds off my shoulder, I sure am going to notice the lighter load!

Just from a pure discount perspective I notice on B&H that the 600N is $2850 and the 850N is $3200.

But the $2500 group buy is applies to both models?

The 600N you mention is the 2.5 Model (Single Side Vest). The Group Buy is for the Cinema 3 Model (Dual Sided Vest) designed for heavier load cameras and for added support.

For RED Users, we highly recommend the Cinema 3.

I just weighed out the camera and it came out to about 32-36lbs with my standard config.
This makes me happy because that is in the same boat as the 700N where I can also use it for heavier 35mm setups that I often shoot as well. Now I can just buy one to fit 'all'.
