No Lecture, No books...just the RED and some skateboards!

[Jeffrey Hamlin]

3 students and I bailed on the classroom today for a "field trip" to the local skate park. The kids had a great time putting the camera into action and all in all...they did a great job.

100fps (2K) and 24fps (4K)
Zeiss ZF Lenses (28, 50, 85, 100)
100 ASA
Edited on FCP

The kids put this together after the shoot. There is a TON more footage...and we will post it after the final edit. Please pass along your critique so that I may share it.

Thanks,

JEFF

Haha! Don't let Health & Safety officer see it! Nice edit so far. What's the track?

I can't seem to get the video to load?

Fun edit. Young people are so fluent in audio-video styles, having been raised on an ever-increasing supply of it fed directly to their craniums.

Think it's quite large - give it time to load.

You have no idea....I won't go any further than that

The music is by a group called Jurassic 5 and the song is "Concrete Schoolyard."

We have a very talented kid that is going to edit all the stuff. Right now it is pretty much "cuts only." I don't think they have even graded it yet. I will check though.

Anyway, thanks for checking it out...

I will post the final edit when it is completed.

Very nice. I like it. The only thing I see is that the outside shots seem a little bit too bright.
