Just received this lens today. Bought used from B&H for $249. Can't mount on my Red because still waiting on Canon mount but shot some test video with it today on my Canon 5D Mark II and several people had asked me to post results in other threads. Here they are. Zoom is smooth. Focus adjustment is loud on this lens though! Will try to add HD clips soon. No retouching, no processing on these stills, just screen grabs from the .mov files right off the CF card.
Anyone know where I can rent a Canon mount for a week so I can try out this lens on the Red?

EDIT: When I said the "zoom is smooth", I was only referring to how the zoom feels, not how it looks. The zoom footage isn't all that smooth. Also, just added a sixth picture which is a 100% crop of a portion of the full HD frame. You can see the image starts to break down at this size whereas an image from the Red would hold up at 4 times this size. Plus, these files are huge -- 100MB for a 20 second clip. I cannot even imagine dealing with that out in the field, not to mention battery issues, lack of control over shutter speed, ISO and aperture (only has 4 possible settings even with tricks) and of course audio synch concerns, lack of 24p, etc. However, I can see a lot of situations where I this camera will come in handy.
