"ER" goes RED

[Jarred Land]

I am happy to announce that all remaining episodes, including the finale of NBC's "ER", will be shot on RED.

[Jeff Kilgroe]

That's cool. Didn't know they still had episodes to shoot.

[Justin Kirchhoff]

Great news!

[Joel Kaye]

Congrats. It'll be interesting to compare before and after RED.

[Jason Ing]

wow. cool.

congrats!

[Graeme Nattress]

I still think the pilot of ER was one of the best bits of drama on US TV in the 90s. Can't wait to see what they do with RED.

[Ketch Rossi]

Nice!!

Its time to see more god shows filmed on RED, the more I loose vision the more I need clarity

ciao

[Andrew Walker]

Maybe I'll get to see their RED around the lot. If there still going to shoot at WB.

[Douglas Underdahl]

And you know, they could use any camera they want.

[Sean R.]

And you know, they could use any camera they want.

Great point Doug. What a testament to this young cameras existence.

[Roberto Lequeux]

must be the studio's way to check it out without having to get married to it... of course we all know what's going to happen... Law & Order, Heros, Friday Night Lights, Medium... it is happening :construction:

[Simon Valderrama]

This is very good news, all those discussions about saturated rental business and economic depression were getting a little ehm, uh ... depressing.

I was thinking the same, a few hundred Reds rented daily would really help out. Plus the investor's added trust in Red from the studios using them would allow a bunch more projects to shoot on Red and add even more rentals. :greedy:

It will take about an other year or so to really get there though... all speculation of course. But very good news for sure.

[Simon Valderrama]

I'm sure that behind this there are a lot of efforts from RED to make this happen.
That is what all of us should do to make R1 use go up.
As of now my most loyal clients are the ones i've spent time on, giving support and help on the transition from film to R1 ... guess i'll have to use my old evangelist powers i used when i was kind of Mac evangelist, heheh

[J. Eric Camp]

Congrats to Red and who ever will be providing services for this project. That makes 3.

[Joyfool]

Great point Doug. What a testament to this young cameras existence.

More so, it's a testament to the workflow.

[C.H.Haskell]

I have had two phone calls this weeks to shoot pilots on RED and I was also forwarded this

So I am really hoping this trend continues. Congrats.

[Tim Hole]

Great News. Congrats RED. Hopefully it is a sign of the future...I'm in no doubt.

[Edward Mendoza]

WOW. That is just incredible. One of the longest running and most successful shows.... in its final year....entrusting themselves with an entirely new system....knowing that there'll be so many eyes on them for the final run. What does that tell you?!

Just incredible.

You all over at RED must be so proud. Congratulations....seriously....

[michael zaletel]

That's great news.
