  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Finally we saw it in real production... now we want it in real film production!!!
I've got some of the best focus pullers in Spain ready to test it.
This is the christams present I'm waiting for...
 
Now imagine having to make another 400 in addition to these 25 not to mention the Imperos, Cables, Origos, Cables....did I mention cables? Its break time for 5 minutes so I thought I would share my pain with you ;)

I think one of my motors (#8) is among those lying on the table there... Still waiting for shipping notice since yesterday.
 
Curt is finishing up the coding to enable firmware upgrades. The first 10 go out tomorrow afternoon. All cables and misc. accessories are already packed in boxes. Waiting on shipping firmware update and then they are out the door. I am working on building up units 20-45 right now.

I don't know, I look at that picture and think "$1000, $2000, $3000..." :)

John, did you ever get that "case with custom-cut foam"-deal worked out like you promised?
 
This might be jumping the gun (so forgive me if that's the case):

What's the backlog like if I were to place an order tomorrow? A month? Is the full amount charged when the order is placed, or just when the items ship?

Does the "Red One Motor package" include Inclino, Impero, a gear set, and all necessary cables? Do I need anything else to work with a Nikon lens? I wasn't sure exactly what was included...

We're an all Nikon shop at the moment. I have been waiting on this thing forever. Geez. . . I can almost taste it.

I will use it with both Nikon and PL mount lenses. The reverse direction feature is a really handy thing.

We shipped a couple units out today. We're trying to finish off the boot loader code for firmware updates on the remaining units so we can get these out asap. This is a rather important chunk of code and unfortunately I didn't get a chance to start on it until last weekend. Stay tuned for some videos sometime this weekend.
