Best "Thank God They Never Made a Sequel" Movies

"JFK? Really? JFK? "In a world where everything is out of control, one man is back for revenge. Kennedy. This time, it's personal. And he's ticked".

You stole my Zombie President idea!

Titanic 2: LUSITANIA

The Player

Die Hard -- (oops)

First Blood (oooooops)

Rocky (stop it!)

Jurassic Park

Madagascar

Tropic Thunder

I'm in a bit of a random mood.

Good ones... but keep in mind:

we're talking movies that never had a sequel, not ones that had sequels and were terrible. (those are in the thousands). :)

O.K, lets do some classics then (Pray that no Producer is lurking here)

Taxi Driver
Jules et Jim
The Third Man
Metropolis
Casablanca
All Quiet on the Western Front
Plan 9 from Outer Space

Coming to think of it: did Charlie Chaplin ever make a sequel?

Gymkata!
greatest single line of the trailer:
"the combustion becomes an explosion"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Mkl9rtttog

now that I think about it, the perfect sequel to this would be:
Michael Phelps in; Swimkata!
I'd pay good money to see Phelps delivering lines with his speech impediment for 90 minutes, somehow luring evil doers into pools to unleash the power of competitive swimming. How much longer till America forgets about him? Better get moving on that production right away before it's too late.
________
Yamaha Wave Blaster Specifications

Godfather II. I watched the trilogy in one setting... the third was a huge what the heck just happened??

Dances with Wolves
The Professional (Léon)
North by Northwest
Citizen Kane
The Big Lebowski
Speed (wait...)

I will second E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, it´s because of that movie and the impact it had on me as a nine year old I am here today (and have a RED ONE), any sequel to it would ruin everything - even Spielbergs post 911 revision to E.T. made me shiver....

Coming to think of it: did Charlie Chaplin ever make a sequel?

he never made a movie that had a 2 on the end of it, but his Tramp character was in many of his films, and in combination with his trademark name it probably is as close to a sequel as one whould come back in those days.

Unbreakable
Although I would like to see what happens next but probably best left alone.

Gladiator
