Hey guys,

In an effort to give back to this great community that helped me so much get to where I am, I made a video showing how the new MacBook handles RED footage in final cut pro. It gets pretty technical, so I think you guys will be happy with what I've put together.

The link is

and it's also a nice mirror!!!!

Thanks for posting this video i was wondering if the small macbook could be used on set for transfering files out of the camera.
and also be used for check exposure in RA

I'll check it out. I've edited quite a few pro RED projects and RedCine hasn't been a part of my workflow. I played around with it in the beginning, but it never really did anything for me.

The Quicktimes look like they play back pretty good. I didn't see a camera timecode readout though. Is that something you can toggle on and off?
