  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

$1700 5.6" or $2500 7" LCD?

The 7".

In this case, bigger is truly better. Those extra two inches make all the difference (ask any girl).

Viewing angle is also clearer. If the camera is higher or lower then your head, like it was on a jib or steadicam, etc., you'll still be able to see the image with the 7", but the 5" will be more difficult to see.

Brook, why is it "VASTLY" better? That much easier to use? I find myself mostly just prefering to use the EVF when solo shooting. Though whenver rocking a real set both go on, LCD for AC and so forth. Is it THAT much eaiser to pull focus off of?

The 7' is nearly twice as bright as the 5". That alone makes a huge difference. The 7 is daylight viewable.
