Hi,
the Scarlet costs about 3,000 and has the new sensor !
why should a RED ONE owner buy a single sensor for 3200 ?
I voted for 5600 because the sun is the strongest and cheapest to use light source available to filmmakers.
When a 3200 light source of similar advantages presents itself i might rethink my opinion.
I prefer 5600K always. Colors are never as good with 3200K lighting.
So, whether I'm indoors or out it is always 5600K if possible.
Have you been filming inside, indoor, where there is NO sun, with the RED ?
graeme, what about increasing the size of the blue dots? would of course mix up the bayer-pattern a tiny bit - but why not try ?
btw, i'm not that bothered about the noise of RED ONE - it's more the fact how noise gets "flatened" through the compression..
