Only a little. You need to understand, that for your eyes it is more or less just like looking at the LCD. The lens in the Viewbox lets you focus closer on the screen. So if you can focus on your LCD (with or without eyeglasses) at about 40cm distance (almost everybody can), then you can use the Viewbox.
