What is this ??the v2.0 CF modules?
Each camera gets one V2.0 CF module included at no charge on your first purchase of the 16gb cards.
The new modules of course work with the 8gb cards as well![]()
Jarred, I recently ordered eight 16GB cards with my second camera, however those eight are supposed to be two lots of four for each camera. Should I talk to Randy about getting a second module included so I have the ability to use these cards for each camera?Yup... presses are rolling. We are actually waiting more for the new CF modules to come in than the cards.. as you guys need upgraded modules to handle the speed of the new cards. Is it safe to assume that when newer (32/64 GB) CF comes out there will be again need to swap the CF module, or will the new module include (overhead) support for faster media in the future...?
Every-time I say next week it curses things.. So i will just say " soon "

Thanks Jarred, email sent.absolutely Paul... let Randy know and he will allocate the cards as 4 per camera... so you will get 2 Modules.
450x/600x compared to what exactly? Dumb question, but just wondering if there is an answer to that.
(from http://www.bobatkins.com/photography/digital/compact_flash_memory_cards.html)Usually there [is] no indication of what 1x is, but it's usually defined as a write speed of 150 kB/s, that's 150 kilobyes of data per second.
