  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Ok guys, we had a problem with quick books and couldn't get the serial numbers out this weekend. Our accountant is on it and we'll be sending the numbers out in the next couple days.

As for the status... still cranking along... I'll have an update as soon as we send out the numbers.

I didn't receive an Origo serial number? I just wanted to make sure that you have my order for Origo, Impero and Inclino? I ordered and paid on your online store the day after it opened..

Impero Videos will be up this weekend. Mirus videos - possibly next week.

As for schedule, we are slipping a bit but I'm trying to still get these starting shipping this month. We have about 500 customers that we need to go through and send serial numbers to as well as expected ship dates. Its a daunting task so please be patient with us as we get that out asap.

You guys are gonna love these toys...

Any news on the Impero - Inclino front.

According to the ViewFactor website : http://viewfactor.net/forum/index.php?topic=57.msg341#msg341

The first 50 units were set to ship on August 29th. Has anybody received them ?

I am eagerly awaiting for mine.

Edit : I just realized I am in the first 50 (thought I was in 50-100) so good news for me, but I haven't heard anything. There is an update in bold on the View Factor status page saying diecast parts are set to arrive today (Sept. 5th), so maybe that superseeds the schedule. So hopefully they'll be shipping in the next few days, monday ?! I'll write here as soon as I have any news. Hopefully they'll arrive before the end of next week, as we have a team doing test for a two month feature starting in two weeks time.

James , if you scroll down that particular thread by Curt, you can find your serialnumber connected to your email ordernumber. Still with the Zeiss standards, or did you for the Elites ? Will you attend IBC ? I will actually show a new swing shift system based on the Cambo X1 pro. More info to follow in the next days....

Hi Mick - yes the zeiss's are working out well. I looked at the Elites but they had such a backorder that it seemed like a year or so before any lenses would show up. Your new swing shift sounds facinating - any more info or is it all top secret?
 
I haven't heard anything in terms of shipping though I'm one of the first in line - so I seriously doubt if they have shipped anything yet.
 
viewfactor forum says they are waiting for cast parts
