  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

What EVF res. numbers are shipping now?

Camera 1178 shipped in May EVF 1212 Shipped July 10th.

Hi guys, sorry I haven't been back to this thread for a while.

Got mine about a week after the first of the batch on this cam went out. Payment cleared three days after group opened up, delivery next day or so.

Guess I was very quick off the mark, but my EVF is sitting there until a few more funds clear on friday and then its mine... ALL MINE muwhahahaha!
 
How in the heck are EVF's shipping for cameras shipped over 15 days apart? Just like an EVF supposedly shipped for a camera in the 1750+ group (which should have never shipped before mine as that group was not supposed to start shipping until June!) What's going on Brian?

So, let me get this straight, you are upset that we are delivering EVFs TOO fast? Yes, we allocated EVFs to people who got their cameras mid-May and early-June in the same week. If people want us to slow down for some reason, it sure would make me and Brian's job MUCH easier :)

And, "supposedly" is the correct word. Looking at the delivery report right now for EVFs and not one person with #1751+ got allocated an EVF before you.

We are being extremely true to our backorder fulfillment policy, trust me. I am the one who allocates each and every EVF then turns it over to Brian for order processing.

After getting to look through an EVF last week I'm about to go crazy now shooting with only a monitor.

Not upset, don't get me wrong. Just a little confused after reading this post (http://www.reduser.net/forum/showpost.php?p=255650&postcount=214) His camera shouldn't have shipped until June, so he shouldn't have gotten an email until after me, yet he got an email a week before me...see my point? Just wondering why it happened this way? Very happy that my EVF is going to be here Tuesday (actually looking more like Monday now, it's already gotten to and departed Memphis--which is only 6 hours away via drive--and it's only Saturday. FedEx better not get it here in time for Monday and then hold it an extra day because it was 2 day shipping!)

FYI... just got an email from RED stating the EVF for RED One #1877 is about to ship. My camera was delivered in early June '08.

Just a heads-up to those tracking EVF order fulfillment progress.
 
Got the "about to ship" email from RED yesterday for camera # 1888.
