I'm one of the many reservation holders but I didn't place an order yet?

Do I still get reservation holder status if I placed a order now or do I go back of the line like for non-reservation/ other customers?

i think it is only a week shipping time difference between reservation holders and non reservation ? as stated on redrock shipping update
but maybe you will stock with what is called backorder or leading time :wacko:

New orders are now "regular" orders. We had the opportunity for reservation open for a long time (three months) to give everyone an opportunity to take advantage of their reservation status. Now that we are shipping it's back to standard orders.

I have ordered and paid for my Mattebox but am wondering about adding another stage.
How many 4X5.65 filters will the Red package hold as shiped?
Would adding another stage delay the shipping?

Hi Frank

The Red Bundle comes standard with 2 stages. You can add a third stage. At this point I don't think it will delay your shipment but you'll need to contact sales@redrockmicro.com with your order number and request this asap.

question re: the polarizer you guys make--

I thought we would need a 5.65 x 5.65 polarizer so that we can rotate it to achieve desired effect and still cover 4 x 5.65 opening. How will 4 x 5.65 polarizer work? Wont' it only work in some conditions? Or is your's a different type that does not need rotation to cut down reflections? On the same note, do you anticipate adding a 138 rotating circular stage for this purpose?

I just ordered the Redrock Mattebox (should have done that earlier...).
So I guess I will have to wait until september to receive it ?

Is it possible to also buy 5,65x5,65 filter trays ?

Hi guys

circular polarizers - ours is a great quality 4x5.65" circular pol - you will need to rotate it to achieve desired lighting effect, and yes it is limited to the width/height of the filter

138mm pola stage - looking at it, but have not yet made any public announcements on it. You can use the arri bellows with 138mm cir pola on the microMatteBox. Works great

5.65" square stages - we don't have those yet but we do plan on making them. No eta. Again you can use arri filter stages here

Hey Brian,

Going to order the mattebox in a few weeks, love the look of it congrats, just a quick question, was wondering about the import tax on this (in any) to the UK and whether this has come up yet in your travels. I'm just trying to work out the costs, shipping import etc & to order direct from your website or through one of your UK dealers/agents as i have one about 20min away from me in Elstree i can go pick it up from when its shipped to them and let them sort it out.

Entitled. There is import tax, but you may want to just get it from our reseller in UK productiongear.co.uk

timb: we have a finished prototype now, but no eta yet (so it does exist! no need to bug me, as Finner suggested). I don't think it will be very far out.

Just to make sure, because this is what I really would like to do. The back of the RR matte box, if I remove the donut, will accept an Arri bellows with a 138mm round stage? Brian? Finner?
