  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

What EVF res. numbers are shipping now?

Congratulations Kenn. Could you also let us know when you actually receive it too? I just want to get an idea of how long the process is from when you get notice to when you receive. I'm 1225 paid in full (not sure if I paid shipping yet) and very anxious.

My EVF shipped and should be here by 6/30. I've been pleasantly surprised at how fast Red has been turning out these viewfinders. Now, if only we can get some better luck happening for Erik at Birger.:waaa:

Payment has been accepted, and have been told my EVF will be going out ASAP, which I'll take to mean within the next 2 weeks. Will check in when I get tracking info.

Red continues to impress!! Just got the email that was sent yesterday that my EVF is in route, and will be arriving tomorrow--7/2/08.

I think Red may be following some kind on non-serial number based list. More first come, first serve. I know I ordered up all the accessories I could (including an EVF) as soon as the stuff was available through the Store, and put my money down. I just recently withdrew money from Red for the 3-4 Red Flash Drives I had on hold since day one of their existence. I think those are becoming more irrelevant and less likely to make it to market anytime soon.

Don't worry all you lower serial number RedHeads out there, your time will come, SOON!
 
Kinobairn, EVF's have a different serial number than the camera number :)

Just a quick reminder that all backordered items are fulfilled in order of camera delivery date.

jedi666, you are REAL close. Like, expect an email within a week.

Method, you maybe 2 weeks away.

We are pumping out EVFs pretty quickly and you'll have it before you know it!

These guys are kickin some major patootie getting the EVFs out.

As for the order in which the EVFs are coming, just look at the numbers receiving at the begining or June. These are guys are rapidly clearing the backorders so keep your eyes peeled!
 
Ok, we must be real close... if you guys want to just send me mine we have like a $9000. credit! :innocent:
