  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

brent could you confirm. i paid full in april, hence will the paid customer just get the tracking numbers or do we get another confirmation email.
 
I am looking into the logs from the blast and see some did not go out for some reason. Just a few and I have alerted our webmaster. I will make sure he blasts out those that were missed. My apologies and I am on it....

Rest assured, your orders are still there :)

I've got my tracking number ! And, thanks to Dan Duran, who put it on the Fedex truck at the last minute, my camera will arrive the day before I leave for my holidays. Now I can take my baby with me :biggrin:
 
Mystery solved. Knowing we'd ship A LOT of cameras today, we started pre-picking orders yesterday to stage for shipping today. Once an order is picked, it looks like it is "delivered" to our email system and, therefore, does not send a "your camera is ready" email on something that appears already delivered. So, my bad for not catching this nuance - but good news, it means it was ready for pickup. And, just in case, still having our webmaster blast you those emails to those who did not get one in a custom blast...

Yes, the guys in the BOMB SQUAD and warehouse put in long days the last two days to get ready to get you your orders. Glad to see people already getting tracking numbers :) Enjoy!

This is amazing that some of you guys have tracking numbers.... a big congratulations!!!! I have to get on my biz partner to wire off that payment today.

I was a little bit sly on this, I emailed my rep to confirm my order was fine before the email blast, and now its already on its way out of the pearly red gates! Many thanks and public appreciation to the Polo!
 
you guys are really fast now, just planning a production in mid july with rental cameras, but seeing this delivery-flow, maybe with my own camera (20++)?jesus, i would save money if this come true.


and congrats to all 1750er-2000er getting cameras, you are deserving this joyness after the "catch up" shock (remember how pale we were some weeks ago)...
 
UPDATE - So the people who had their orders pre-picked on Monday (see my post on previous page) did not get the "Your order is ready" email, like I said. So, I had the webmaster reblast. If you are in this group and your totals look screwed up, it is because we sent you the email AFTER we had picked your order. So, it is kind of like telling you your dinner is ready after you have already eaten :)

Basically, the email system looks at an order and emails what has not been delivered. If it has been prepped for delivery, it is not in the email.

Long story short, if your email looks jacked up, it means your camera is almost in your hands, haha. Your order itself is not screwed up, just what the email is showing may be off.

Email your BOMB SQUAD rep with questions!

Thanks for keeping us in the loop Brent, just spoke with Dan and it seems this must have been the issue cause apparently my camera has shipped already?!

thank GOD! I was so happy to get an email around 1am last night, but then shocked to see that you were confirming my order of a RED ONE, an EVF, and an XL T shirt (i where a medium)!

I feel WAY better now. Thanks BC!
 
and Jim said let there be #1831... and there was... and all was good.

Nice to have it in my hands. I wish I had my LCD or EVF.
