booked advanced ticket yesterday. still have 24 hours to go before i watch that movie. i'm a bit disappointed that there is no 2k digital version of the movie.

Indiana Jones... is not celebration of any digital as "Mr. Speilberg" already said in Cannes yesterday.

And about this movie it should not be any place here at the forum at all.

Old fashioned conservative manners and aesthetic that not allow a new spirit of the film to come (digital, RED, or etc...).

A fear of the end :) .

Just have a look at this Cannes press conference, it's a sort of a fake massage from "a film Rabbie" or what...???

favorite quote from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade---DON'T call me Junior

Just saw the movie, the first scenes looked very studio-ish, even my friends complained immediately in the first shots that it did look very unnatural, and they seemed to notice there was something really wrong with lighting as well.

Overall it got better towards the break and so going upwards to the end.

But the first 20 minutes gave me a real bad feeling about wat was going to come.

I can't wait to see this movie....less than 4 hours to go.

Why shouldn't discussion of the film have a place on this board? Is there any reason to expect it to be bad? Spielberg is 20 times the filmmaker anyone on here is ever going to be...regardless of the tools he uses.

I liked the look of the opening. It was a little unatural, but felt like a comic book come to life.

It had a lot of problems, but overall, I still enjoyed it.

WAY too much distracting CGI (boo!) and

SPOILER!

a flying saucer???? Gimme a freakin break. But, still, it was great to see Indy again, like seeing an old friend.

Haven't watched it yet.

I only hope and pray that this sequel will be at least OK, given what the Ark and the Crusade mean to our generation (of filmmakers).
