My apologies if this info has already been discussed. If it has, I can't find the thread.

Does anyone have the correct factor to use when compensating for lenses at 3k and 2k?

ex. I want to shoot my slow-mo at 28mm, some at 3k and some at 2k - what lens at 3k will give me a 28mm and what lens at 2K will do it?

thanks-

you mean field of view right?

i could be completely wrong on this but the 2k frame is 1 quarter the size of the 4k frame, so divide by 4? 28mm at 4k = 7mm 2k?

dunno though

O.K. this is not exact science either but 35mm (4K) FOV with a 28mm lens is closer to 14mm in 2K. Frame is 1/2 as wide, so I believe that to double the degree of view, say a 30 degree angle you would need to go to a 60 degree angle. I think 1/2 the mm = Twice the degree in FOV. I could be a little off here, If someone has a more exact science I'd like to hear it as well.

thanks Brook lol I make sure to ask you this again in a few months, ok? :)

hey brook.. 4k ok.. but you didn't add the still 35mm equivalents..
