Actually, that has changed. I found that the 9V batteries only have a 800-900 mAH capacity... with the high end transceiver that would equate to around 2 hours of operation. The shipping model is using 4 AAA batteries which give us closer to 1200 mAH so we can run up to 4 hours. Keep in mind that that is using the PRO transceiver that has a 1 mile range. We are reevaluating the long range version and are going to be shipping with the lower power transceiver instead - that still has a decent range of 400 feet outdoors and 100 feet indoors and it would increase the battery life to around 6-8 hours depending on usage. Hopefully that doesn't get to many people mad... we have the transceiver easily accessible in the battery area so its an easy thing to change out if there is an application where someone needs the added range.Hi Curt.
Im planning on getting one of your FF sets when my camera number comes up, wasnt able to get to Nab (was in good old london), the FF is 9v, is that a PP3 9v battery or coin cells? Just wondering as I have a bunch of batteries here and wondering which ones I will need to get (or already have).
Thanks.
Andrew.
