Last but 2 (If I can manage before I leave)

And then I 'll go quiet for a while and get some work done....

Available daylight

Because there have been so much talk about saturation I have done some funny tests... You must excuse me :)

Again, very nice!

I like the colors and edge blur, but I'm a sucker for saturation!

Gunleik,
I'm really inspired by your work. Beautiful and dramatic panoramic views...

gunleik,

Many thanks for posting both this and the NightVision shots... Somehow seeing what you shoot makes me truly happy - such hope for the future. Thank you.

Thanks a lot guys. Currado... :)!! You're da boss...

I'll continue to post my small (off work) tests, if you find them usefull.

Very useful, keep posting, much appreciated.

If you could share with us how are you getting these saturated colors in the over the water containers on the other side of the bay, I would appreciate.
Almost looking like HDR shots

Gorgeous!!!!!!!! please share with us your toolset and workflow.

gunleik, thanks for the video clips! They are truly inspirational to a prospect RED camera owner (like me). I guess you're just lucky your local neighborhood is as gorgeous as a million dollar Hollywood set. :-)

Keep the great vid coming!

Very nice indeed, loved the slow-mo shot of the girl and the time-lapse bits with the clouds.

Norway surely has interesting spots!

In the shot of the building towards the end the exposure or something changes, and it brings lots of detail to the building that was clipped before, was it just the light changing?

Hi again

I'm testing a lot of workflows and shootingconditions inbetween gigs. I don't have time to put everything out... But there will still come a lot more.

As to steve, it's a weather change, but if you have your gamma @ 2.2, it shouldn't be blown (if it didn't blow in the web-export...)

As to David

One important thing (for me) to nail for some gigs, is a DPX workflow in FCS untill I have a RAW workflow. Even lucas has stated that DPXs give the same quality as working with RAW (in scratch, that is - just to be precise)

I see a very significant qualitydifference between prores and DPX, and glutools makes that more fluent than to wrap the dpxs with the aja QT wrapper. Also Gluetools presents the DPXs as YUV to FCP, so you can do (some) renders there without loosing colorspace.

Makes sense?

Cheers
