I still like the Canon TX1 better, and I am still waiting for Scarlet.
The Sony looks like what I was describing that I wanted RED to make, but Sony didn't listen/eavesdrop to me 100%. I said no propritary storage media and no AVCHD. That kills the product for me. But I am sure a lot of consumers will buy it anyways. Scarlet had better not use AVCHD or I will puke.

If Scarlet ends up looking like the Sony TG1, then my post is relevant. If not, then it isn't. (I put in The GTA bundle because I do like the PS3, even if I hate all other Sony products.) Did you even look at the link to the site about the TG1? If Scarlet is identical to the TG1, except for the sucky CMOS, codec, 1080i, and storage media, would you buy Scarlet? I would.

What exactly don't you like about the post? I like this post. It is all of my hundres of post before this one that suck. If moderators want to delete all of them it is OK with me. But they should keep this post.

Use the link above. They explain why the TG1 and AVCHD suck. Just know this, AVCHD is not Mac friendly.
I am counting on Jim to make Scarlet Apple friendly.

If I put up a link to the Sony GC1, then that should be moved to the trash.
