Birger mount: photos and footage

[Joe Vinson]

Last I heard, Birger still plans to start shipping the Canon mount this week. Would it be possible for you guys to post some photos of the mount and/or test footage of the 'smart' features in action? Thanks in advance!

Second that. I'm very curious as to how snappy, accurate, and well the "smart" functions work before I pay for this mount. I'm also curious as to the virtual controls(bluetooth or wired) enlarge the compressed focus scale of a SLR lens. In theory all of it is very promising. Just looking for some sort of review as to how well it worked out in the final product. Anyone?

I think we're all waiting for the same thing!

I haven't been following the Birger progress too closely, but I came upon this image earlier today. Sorry if it's old news.

Akabaka, by the title of your thread i thought you were actually announcing photos of the Birger mount. You are bad.

I believe these are photos of an old prototype. Erik has posted some newer ones somewhere which show that the mount now has push buttons which allow to adjust aperture without having to use the knob or remote.

AFAIK this is the newest photo: http://www.reduser.net/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=3244&d=1203441859

I do apologize for that. I realized right after I posted that there should be a question mark, but I couldn't change it.

Thanks for the pictures of the focus knob, which I've somehow missed all this time.
