Not related to RED files:

I'm doomed! I deleted an important Txt/word file on my wifes computer:wacko:

I've ran almost every recover software I could demo - mp3 and some old video files that were deleted round the same time (two months ago:w00t: )could be recovered.

Anyone experienced a miracle recovering files - any software or company you can suggest?

OS: Mac OSX 10.3

Thanks

One thing I know is, the less you do on that computer for now - the less likely you are to overwrite those files.

I accidently deleted 183 gigabytes worth of movies 2 weeks ago, and I fucked up by not stopping everything dead in its tracks immediately. By the time I got the recovery program going, I had already overwritten most of them somehow.

Tom is right. The best is to run the recover software on an other computer and mount the harddrive with the deleted files as a slave.
