Raptor advance handle?

Do you think red will make another handle that has more features than just a record button? Dsmc 2 had the handle that had the scroll wheel and assignable buttons you can can adjust things without taking your hand off the grip. It would be nice to have that for raptor as well!

Ideally it would also incorporate a secure quick-release mechanism so the handle can be detached and re-attached in a second or two without the need for tools or stopping or restarting the camera.

Yes!! I really like my gdu cowboy handle but hate not being able to take it off easily for travel.

Seems to me like it's a combination of trying to consolidate and slim down their product range, and relying more on third-parties to make accessories. The change in software and hardware communication protocols from DSMC2 to DSMC3 is also a factor. Throw in the global supply-chain issues and it's not as easy now to just design and make stuff in-house and hope for the best.

RED are still doing that with some things, and more RED accessories are in the works, but yeah, it's different now.
