I’m finding that the white balance on my RED GEMINI seems off. If I shoot under daylight lights and have my white balance at 5600 to match the temperature the footage has a warm/yellow look across it and I have to then bring the temperature down. Any ideas on what might be happening?

Your "daylight" lights are likely not daylight. You have to take into consideration any spill from other light sources and whatever light modifiers you are using, like scrims, soft boxes, egg crates and the like...and the glass you are shooting through. Zeiss for instance is cooler than Canon. Try white balancing with auto white and see what you get when your lights are set to 5600K. Hint. It won't be 5600k.

As Scot says, that means your lights are likely not 5600. Or you lens has a cast to it. I wouldn't assume it's the camera. You need to learn how to white balance with a chart.

Our Monstro is about 1000 Kelvin cooler compared to Raptor, Alexa LF and Sony FX6. This issue occurs when shooting in the sun and also when shooting with LED / HMI lighting. So the lights are definitely not an issue. Is there any way to calibrate the camera? It was accurate some years ago, but somehow had a white balance drift.

All I can suggest is to use a white balance card for now. I assume you did the usual reset, blackshade, etc. Someone will have a better answer soon I'm sure.

Yes, new black shadings for sure and full camera wipe.
I think it changed after the last software update in 2020 - very sad that DSMC2 got no more attention after Raptor was released.
