90% of rec2020 and 2000nits nice. I wonder how far off we are from full rec2020 coverage becoming the norm.
With the way technology is advancing these days who can tell. I thought when I first saw the this "First Look" video that he was going to say anywhere from $45,000 to $60,000 for this 55inch OLED Reference Monitor. When he said $19,995, I was like damn! Even though that still sounds like alot, that's a really great price for a Reference Display of this quality and by a extremely reputable Company like Flanders Scientific.
i feel with evonomies of scale, that a $5K camera and a $20K monitor are better than the reverse.

Saw the XMP550 today at Cinegear, and I thought it was really impressive.
They were playing back the ASC "StEM2" demo, and it looked spectacular. Bram Desmet added that it was a true Grade-1 display (which is significant), and that it's equal to or better than the current 31" reference displays in this same price range ($19.995). Availability is September.
Did they say what the sustained full screen brightness is?
If you're not going to be doing alot of HDR work, a $6K camera and a $6.5K monitor looks good as well.

Why are you blowing up my camera budget?![]()
Still waiting for full DCI size... 4096x2160... probably not a interesting market for them?.... Or is the 4096 matrix difficult to make because the industry is driven by TV sets wich are 3840?
