Nice to go from debates regarding if Komodo even had gyro data to seeing a demo like this.
There were some major bumps in the original footage that were pretty non existent in the stabilized version.

Yeah I always like to see actual practical examples instead of just theory.

Agreed. I thought this we going to be some months away but we actually seem to have a working solution.

This is the workflow used for the Gyroflow software used in the video.

Note that the software does not read R3Ds natively but can ingest a ProRes export of the clip to be stabilized.

Brian,

Thanks for the workflow described above. I believe I remember Jon Pias mentioning about the conversation from R3D files to ProRes as well in another thread to use them in Gyroflow. So I thank you and Jon for this info.:thumbsup:
