  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Scarlet MX not turning on.

Hi,
Just packed up one of my MXs after having it stored for about 4 months. The power led turns yellow after turning on but then turns off without going green.

Have tried with both power cable and battery. Have tried to detach all accessories. Have also tried hard resetting by pressing and holding power button for 30s as read on official support page.

Anything else to try out?

It could be that it was stored wet or something. Did you try DC power? If you have several - can try swapping boards and see if some failed.

Have been stored in good conditions. Yes, have tried both DC and battery. Will try with Monitor attached to see what gives. You mean swapping boards between 2 cameras? Don’t think I have the guts to do that myself but maybe I can ask a local service center.

That would be amazing! Definitely interested! How does it work? What’s the process like?

Have another one with a faulty sensor as well. Turns on but plenty of error messages and artifacts on the image.

Send me an email contact@cgpent.com and let me know what the issues are for both camera brains also let me know what has led up to each fault such as last shoot environment humid/dry temperatures any drops or impacts etc.
